My name is Larry Metayer, and I love weddings! Well, I love my Family, But I really, really like weddings... a whole lot! I have a passion for capturing the emotions of the wedding day. I have been a photographer for over 15 years and a wedding photographer for the last four years. I have a successful portrait studio located in the beautiful mountain of Southwest Virginia at Smith Mountain Lake. I take anywhere from 300 to a 1,000 images or more. That's over 100 images per hour. With a digital camera, I do not have developing cost as with film photographers. So I can cover everything happening at your wedding.

I shoot only one wedding per day. Some photographers cram as many weddings into a day as they can. They rush from your wedding to get to another, and then they rush from that one to get to another.

This type of photographer is not going to able to capture the EMOTIONS, ROMANCE, LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS between you and your husband (doesn't that sound exciting? Your "husband!") and also between you and your family and friends. he's or she won't have the sensitivity and enthusiasm and love for what he does to be able to capture those feelings. And he or she won't have the time or energy.

I love adding special effects to the images. There is no additional cost for this service. I will add some kind of special effect to about 5 to 10% of the images.

will put off creating their albums or not create one at all. This is a one in lifetime event. Every couple should have a professional created album of their wedding day. The CD or DVD will have all the edited images that was taken at your wedding.

To keep my price down, all proofing is done online. But if you wish to purchase a catalog album of 15 images on a sheet. The sheets are professional spiral bounded with the file numbers matching your master file. A catalog book can hold up to 50 or more pages.
